Self Catering Accommodation Tenerife South
There are king-sized beds in all the cottages, except for Jasmine, which has twin beds. Wi-Fi, TV, DVD Player, a safe and very basic cable are provided at no extra cost. We also have a large library of DVDs and books for your use.
Each cottage is approx 55 square meters and was converted from an old Bodega (where they made the wine) and farmhouse. Our cottages, named after local flowers, are uniquely furnished with traditional high wooden Canarian ceilings, and all but Frangipani have areas of exposed stone.
Tenerife La Bodega is located in tranquil surroundings in San Miguel de Abona, for an authentic Tenerife experience in the south of Tenerife. Tenerife La Bodega is ideally placed for those who want to relax in the gardens or take a swim in the pool. Alternatively, many use it as a base to explore the entire island thanks to its location, 15 minutes drive to Golf Del Sur, 25 minutes drive to Los Cristianos, and a 45-minute beautiful drive up Teide with die for views.
Don't have four wheels? We can arrange for a car hire, alternatively, Tenerife La Bodega is ideally placed for those who just want to walk around, there are many walks/trails in the area, and it's also a popular base for hobbyist-cyclists. We can also arrange your bike hire.
The Tenerife accommodation / cottages we offer, sleep two adults and are unsuitable for children.
If the Tenerife accommodation you're looking for cannot be found at La Bodega, the island has many other choices. From family friendly resorts around the coasts in Las Americas, Golf Del Sur, Los Cristianos, and Costa de Adeje that come alive at night, to 5-star luxury hotels in Bahia del Duque, a favourite with A-listers, A-lister wannabes and those who just want to flash the cash. There's plenty of luxury designer brands in this area, and of course, the prices are a lot higher as well.
Playa de Las Americas, on the other hand, is particularly popular among the pint-swilling-party-heads with its largely active club scene, raving disco beats, and cheap drinks. It's ideal for those looking for cheap budget holidays, with cheap hotel rooms and not enough room to swing a lobster. That said, the Tenerife Cabildo in recent years has done its best to try and make the area a bit more upmarket.
If you're looking for family-friendly Tenerife accommodation, try Los Cristianos. Ideal for those who have mid-range teenagers, want to be near the action - but not too near. There's plenty of souvenir shops and places to eat out, karaoke bars, and English pubs where you can participate in quizzes and watch the live football and drink to less-loud, but-still-really-loud music. What's more, the beach is just a quick walk-a-way!
